Notes
TIPS & TRICKSTamarind powder provides the fruity and fresh tart flavors in this dish. You can find tamarind powder at Asian stores especially Indian stores. It is also available online (Walmart, etc sells it). Some Mexican stores may also have it. You may also use the Filipino tamarind packet powder (sinigang tamarind mix) usually branded as Mama Cita's or Knorr Sinigang Mix which may be readily found at any Asian store.Bottles of sweet chili sauce may also be purchased at the Asian section of your grocery or any Asian store. If you prefer to follow the poultry setting in your own air fryer, feel free to do so. Mine is a Cosori air fryer and the chicken bakes perfectly in this temperature and length of cooking. Do adjust the temperature and length of cooking based on your air fryer's manufacturer's instructions, if preferred.
