These are easy cheesy sausage balls are delicious and more-ish! Perfect as party appetizers or to enjoy for breakfast! These sausage balls can be made ahead, even frozen before or after baking. Can also be made completely gluten-free.

Ingredients
 

  • 1 ½ cups gluten-free or regular Bisquick or any pancake/baking mix of your choice
  • 16 oz bulk pork sausage
  • 2 cups Cheddar cheese shredded
  • ¼ cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley chopped
  • ½ teaspoon dried thyme
  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 cup milk
  • Barbecue sauce or sweet chili sauce for dipping, if desired (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Heat oven to 350°F. Line with parchment paper or lightly grease a large cookie sheet with cooking spray.
  • Mix all ingredients except the dipping sauce in a large bowl. Shape the mixture into 1-inch balls. A small cookie scooper is handy for this. Place in the prepared pan.
  • Bake uncovered for 24 to 27 minutes or until nicely browned. Immediately remove from pan. Serve warm with sauce for dipping.
