1bag10oz Stuffing Mix of choice (regular or gluten-free)
½oniondiced
1cup2 ribs of celery, diced
½cup1 large carrot, diced
5tablespoonsof butter
1 lbground sausage (like Italian-style)
2cupsgluten-free low-sodium chicken stock
3tablespoonsfresh herbscoarsely chopped (1 tablespoon each of parsley, sage, and oregano)
salt & pepper, to taste
Instructions
Heat the oven to 350°F. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add onions, celery, and carrots. Sauté until the vegetables are beginning to soften.
Add the sausage and continue to cook until nicely browned.
Add the fresh herbs and season with a little salt and pepper, to taste. Give it a quick stir.
