Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 3/4 cup Ketchup
  • 1/2 cup brown Sugar
  • 1/4 cup Honey
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire or Soy Sauce, or to taste

Instructions

  • Place all the ingredients in a non-reactive saucepan. Stir.
  • Bring to a boil and then simmer on low uncovered for 10 minutes or until slightly thickened.
  • When cool pour the sauce into a jar and cover or squeeze bottle. Keeps in the refrigerator for up to 1 week (perhaps even more because of the vinegar in it).
  • You can certainly tweak the flavor to your taste. Use this as a guideline to make your own homemade barbecue sauce. Enjoy!
