Ingredients

  • 6 tbsp butter, plus extra for greasing (if not using parchment paper to line baking sheet)
  • 2/3 cup Nutella or chocolate hazelnut spread, or adjust to taste
  • 2 cups rolled or instant oats
  • 2/3 cup walnuts or pecans, chopped

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375 F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or butter it lightly if you're not using a liner.
  • Place the butter and Nutella in a saucepan and heat gently until melted.
  • Add the rolled oats and nuts to the Nutella mixture and stir to combine.
  • Shape into 1-inch balls (a small cookie scooper would be helpful for uniformity) and place in the cookie sheet. Press the cookie balls gently. Bake in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes. Allow to cool on the cookie sheets for about 5 minutes or until firm. Transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

TIPS & TRICKS
The baked cookies can be stored in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks (though I believe it won't last that long!)
