Ingredients
 

  • pounds chicken wings
  • 1-2 eggs, beaten
  • 4 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 8 tablespoons parmesan cheese, finely grated
  • ½ tablespoon garlic powder
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • nonstick Cooking Spray

Instructions
 

  • Pat dry the chicken wings to ensure they don't have any excess water or moisture. Don't skip this part. This is very important. Set aside.
  • In a large bowl, combine the cornstarch, parmesan cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir to mix.
  • Dip each chicken wing in the beaten egg lightly. Use a brush to remove any excess egg. You just want to lightly coat it and not overdo it. Toss the wings in the parmesan-flavored breading and ensure they're well coated. Place the wings in a rack as you preheat the air fryer.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 380F. Spray the air fryer basket with nonstick spray. Add the wings and generously spray the wings with the cooking spray, too. Cook for 26-28 minutes until golden brown and crispy. Flip the chicken wings halfway through the cooking time.
  • Serve immediately on its own or with your favorite chicken dip!

Notes

TIPS & TRICKS
I add only about a teaspoon each of salt and freshly ground pepper. Feel free to adjust to your taste.
