Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
Meanwhile, pat dry the steaks using a paper towel to remove excess moisture.
Rub both sides of the steaks with avocado oil, ensuring they are evenly coated.
Sprinkle the garlic powder, herbs, salt, and black pepper over the steaks, gently pressing it into the meat to adhere.
Place the seasoned steaks in the preheated air fryer basket, making sure they are not touching each other.
Cook the steaks in the air fryer for 6-8 minutes for medium-rare, 8-10 minutes for medium, or 10-12 minutes for well-done, flipping halfway through the cooking time.
Check the doneness of the steaks using a meat thermometer to ensure they reach your preferred level of doneness:Medium-rare: 135°F (57°C)Medium: 145°F (63°C)Well-done: 160°F (71°C)
Once the steaks are cooked to your desired doneness, remove them from the air fryer, place a cube of butter on top and let them rest for a few minutes before slicing.
Slice the steaks against the grain into thin strips.
