So intrigued by all this fuss, I have decided one weekend to make these Disney chocolate chip cookies, I have read so much about! Thankfully, the recipe has been shared for free by the Disney Grand Floridian resort so I didn’t have to go for a copycat but the real deal indeed!

My daughter was happy to oblige and made these scrumptious Disney chocolate cookies! I was surprised that she finished in no time and that the Grand Floridian chocolate chip cookies recipe was actually so simple.

  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1 cup packed brown sugar

Preheat oven to 330°F. Sift flour, baking soda, and salt into a large bowl and set aside.

Combine butter, brown sugar, and powdered sugar in a separate bowl and cream with an electric mixer until fluffy. With mixer running, add eggs, one at a time, then add vanilla. Mix until combined, scraping sides of bowl.

Slowly add the flour mixture, scraping the sides of the bowl. Stir in chocolate chips. Scoop 1 tablespoon dough for medium cookies and 2 tablespoons for large onto an ungreased baking sheet.

Bake until light golden, 10 to 12 minutes for medium cookies, and 12 to 14 minutes for large.
