What is Braising?
Braising is a cooking technique that involves searing meat at high heat and then finishing it in liquid at a lower temperature. This method results in incredibly tender, flavorful meat and a rich, concentrated sauce. In our recipe, we first sear the pork chops to lock in their juices and create a beautiful golden crust. Then, we braise them in a flavorful mixture of beef broth, apples, and aromatics, allowing the flavors to meld and the pork to become fork-tender.
